I’m Dan Broadhead, an MSK podiatrist, sports scientist, lower-limb MSK sonographer and former GB junior athlete. I hold a postgraduate certificate in MSK ultrasound.

Making things easier to understand.

Stride Unpacked brings together explanations of lower-limb health, videos and product reviews. My aim is to help you ask better questions and make more informed choices about your feet, ankles, knees and movement.

You don’t need to be an athlete to belong here. The focus is useful information for everyday movement as well as sporting goals.

A clear approach.

I’ll explain the reasoning behind advice, acknowledge uncertainty and distinguish education from individual treatment. Product reviews will include the testing approach, limitations and commercial disclosures.
