Anne Stewart brings over 20 years of podiatry experience to helping people stay active, comfortable and confident on their feet. A graduate of Queen Margaret University in 2005, she is co-director of Borders Podiatry and Health Hub in Galashiels, combining clinical expertise with a warm, reassuring approach to patient care.
Her clinical interests include general podiatry, diabetic foot health and wound care. Whether treating everyday foot discomfort or supporting patients with more complex needs, Anne focuses on thorough assessment, effective treatment and practical advice. She understands how much foot health matters to a person’s independence, wellbeing and ability to enjoy everyday life.
Away from the treatment room, Anne brings that same commitment to her own running. An ultramarathon runner, she has run a minimum of 2 kilometres every single day for over three years, while managing a business and being mum to four children. That remarkable consistency reflects both her determination and her understanding of what it takes to make time for your health within a busy life.
Her experience of long-distance running gives her a personal appreciation of the demands that training places on the feet, as well as the importance of staying comfortable and managing problems early. She brings that perspective to her care of people with all levels of activity—from those who simply want to walk without discomfort to those working towards their next sporting challenge.
Approachable and attentive, Anne takes time to listen, explain treatment clearly and help patients feel at ease. Her aim is to help every person she treats move more comfortably and keep doing the things that matter to them.
